You may be wondering why I have launched this course and what qualifies me to deliver it?
I am so totally and unbelievably passionate UK retailing that it is almost an obsession.
I was born into retail - my father ran a department store in Newbury and from the age of 5 I was involved in the store, first doing fashion shows and then as a Saturday girl. I went on to study retail marketing at university, was a buyer at both Tesco and Boots and commercial director for several food businesses. Most recently I have been mentoring and supporting a number of food businesses to launch into new routes to market including UK retailers, food service and others.
But I never stop learning and am dedicated to expanding my own knowledge - this year I have been on online training programmes, Tony Robbins business mastery, speaker training and others. As a result, I keep my ideas and knowledge, current and up to date.
